Discover NESA
A tuition-free magnet school program preparing high school students for top-tier colleges and professional careers in the arts.
At NESA you don’t just learn the arts — you live the arts.
You’ll work with industry professionals, performance facilities, and a curriculum that mirrors the professional artistic world. Our curriculum builds from foundational artistic training into seven specialized majors, helping you build a professional portfolio and find your creative voice before graduation.
What Is NESA?
Our dynamic environment is supported by educators who are professional artists themselves. Students learn through studio experience, live collaborations, and master classes to build professional portfolios that prepare them for both prestigious post-secondary arts education and immediate professional careers.

Outcomes That Matter—For Parents and Students
Students at NESA graduate with more than a diploma — they graduate with options.
Throughout the program, students work toward talent development that strengthens both college applications and career readiness. These credentials reflect skills that colleges and employers recognize and value.
Graduates commonly pursue:
- College majors in film production, dance, script writing, and music composition.
- Professional roles on Broadway, television, international orchestras, and cruise lines.
- Continued artistry alongside higher education.
By the time students graduate, they have developed their talents and built experience — rather than trying to gain it after high school.
